“He Fell for Me: A Straight Man, a Trans Woman, and a World That Wasn’t Ready” is my truth in print, a mix of memoir, self-help, and survival testimony about what it means to love openly when the world calls your love a problem.
This book follows my real experiences as a Black trans woman navigating love with straight-identifying men — the thrill, the danger, the heartbreak, and the growth that came from it. It’s not just about romance. It’s about visibility, pain, faith, and power.
I talk about what it costs to be loved in secret, what it takes to forgive, and how to heal after staying too long in situations that tried to shrink you. It’s heavy, it’s beautiful, and it’s honest, because I lived it.
But this ain’t just my story. It’s for every trans woman who’s ever loved too hard, every man who’s ever been afraid to stand in his truth, and every person who’s ever had to choose between peace and people’s opinions.
I wrote this for the women still in it, the men still hiding, and the world still pretending not to see us. This book forces you to look, not in judgment, but in understanding. It’s a mirror, a sermon, and a love letter all in one.
“He Fell for Me” isn’t about shame. It’s about freedom. About learning that even when love falls apart, you can still stand tall. Because yes, he fell for me.
But in the end, I rose for me.
